Community Outreach
The Landing Road Project team recognizes that community involvement is an integral part of any successful transportation project. An outreach program has been developed for this project which will include local officials’ briefings, coordination with community stakeholders and opportunities for the general public to provide feedback in the project development process. As part of the community outreach process, the project team will:
- Schedule and attend two (2) Public Officials Briefings.
- Schedule, advertise, and staff two (2) Public Information Centers.
- Maintain a Mailing List and an E-mail Contact List.
- Prepare display boards of the proposed project.
- Prepare handouts for use at the Public Information Centers.
- Prepare memorandum memorializing the meetings.
- Provide updates to this website.
